LOVE FOR KIDS Christmas Party

The LOVE FOR KIDS Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, December 13th, 2014.

The LOVE FOR KIDS Charity organization was established in 1975 by Bill Barrett, Chairman of Willow Distributors, Inc., and Alan Powdermaker, CEO of Circle R Ranch. The focus of the charity is to enrich the quality of life of the young and young-at-heart within the Dallas / Ft. Worth communities who are in need of benevolent services.LOVE FOR KIDS hosts over 3,000 children from all ethnic groups for the largest Christmas Party for underprivileged children in Texas. The party is by invitation only and groups are invited through local recreation centers, schools and other agencies from a master list that has been accumulated over many years. Children between the ages of 6 – 12 enjoy a day of entertainment, horseback riding, outdoor games, hay rides, bubble bounce, carnival games, food and prizes.

LOVE FOR KIDS is governed by an all volunteer, twenty-five member Board of Directors.

Funding is provided through contributions from individuals, corporations and fundraisers sponsored by groups such as the Dallas Children’s Charities.


The LOVE FOR KIDS Annual Christmas Party provides an array of fun activities for the children. Horse Back Riding, Face Painting, Arts & Crafts, Petting Zoo, Sports Activities, Song & Dance, and special appearances by Local and State Celebrities!The Dallas Children’s Charities is proud to be a long standing partner with LOVE FOR KIDS since 1977!

Dallas Children’s Charities At the LOVE FOR KIDS Christmas Party, each child is given a brand new toy furnished by the many generous guests of the annual “Dallas Margarita Ball” hosted by the Dallas Margarita Society.With over 12,000 guests in attendance, graciously contributing toys and money, the Dallas Children’s Charities is able to support community organizations such as LOVE FOR KIDS.The LOVE FOR KIDS Christmas Party will be held on the second Saturday of December.
